A much cooler day
I've never appreciated 21c and a North Sea breeze more than I did this morning. After the last few days of excessive heat and humidity, getting to sit outside with a cup of tea at 8am and being able to blink without sweating was perfectly serene. I'll suffer the heat and humidity if it brings a decent storm, but otherwise, fuck all that nonsense.
Anyway, along with some distant thunder, today's wildlife walk with my daughter bagged us another Great Tit and a Speckled Wood butterfly.
