A fledgling Wren
Just as I was heading home I found this young ball of fluff happily sleeping on a branch out in the open, seemingly without a care in the world. It was content to sit here for a good five minutes or so before it was inevitably disturbed (not by me!) and our brief photoshoot was over.

Just a bit more telephoto reach would have been nice. Just to get that bit tighter and have some more megapixels on the bird. I do find I'm struggling to reach and really fill the frame at times. I love the images I get from the 40-150 but that 300mm F4 is calling my name, and it keeps getting louder. With the MC-14 attached I could get to 840mm, that's basically double where I'm at now. Then (obviously) everything can land twice as far away as before :)
